The Raps fought to the bitter end, but when it was all said and done the better team won tonight, falling to the Milwaukee Bucks. Let’s hear it for the couple hundred fans who came to the arena to watch it. You have one of the most exciting players in the game today. What else do you want Milwaukee?
On to the good stuff.
Zan for Three (Plus the Foul)
The Real Deal.
This is my first time watching Jennings play in a game and at first I was skeptical, I mean who is this kid? Is he as good as the NBA hype machine says he is?
He was scoring. He was stealing. He was blocking. The kid is unreal. You can’t help but wonder what the Raptors would look like with Jennings instead of Derozan. And that’s not to take anything away from Kid Dynamite. He’s going to be great. But man, does Jennings look good.
Ok…this is almost too obvious to even point out. But Hedo was terrible tonight. In a game where two of your top four players are out because of injury, you’d expect the remaining 2 to pick up their game. Only 1 did tonight.
Hedo gets two points tonight. It’s one thing when you play really bad. It’s another thing when you play really bad and walk off the court smiling and laughing with a friend of yours who plays on the opposing team. The Zan shakes his fist at thee.
Nice to see the former Raptor playing key minutes. But how the hell does a man play four quarters of NBA basketball without his hair moving?
Zan of the Night
He didn’t play in the fourth, but he didn’t need to.
Honorable Mention to Tim Micalleff for keeping me entertained.
Not Zan of the Night
Slow. Lethargic. Old. Whatever you want to call it, he was bad. Is he ever going to score over 20 for us?
